tessa's debut single

Sometimes with your kids, you get a vibe early on about their destiny.

With Drew, it was science. The kid lives and breathes science. He yawns at the thought of reading a novel, but he will pour over nonfiction books for hours.

Isaac is drawn to explosions. Heaven help us.

Ella is planning to rule a kingdom somewhere.

And Tessa, at 8 months, is already on the fast-track to being an R&B star.

She insists on sunglasses whenever we leave the house...

She is into bling. Her bottle is blinged out.

 She teeths on sterling silver...

She's comfortable in front of the camera.

Tessa actually wrote her first song inspired by the Beyonce hit "Single Ladies(Put a Ring on it)".

In case you are unfamiliar with the song, the first verse goes like this:

Up In The Club, We Just Broke Up
I’m Doing My Own Little Thing
You Decided To Dip But Now You Wanna Trip
Cuz Another Brother Noticed Me...
[Chorus]Cuz If You Liked It Then You Should Have Put A Ring On It
If You Liked It Then You Shoulda Put A Ring On I
tDon’t Be Mad Once You See That He Want It
If You Liked It Then You Shoulda Put A Ring On It
All The Single Ladies (7x)
Now Put Your Hands Up
Yep, it's action packed but Tessa felt like it wasn't relevant to today's baby. So she wrote her own lyrics to the same tune. The song is titled...

"Outfit Changes (Put a Bib on it)"

Up in the Crib, Just woke up
I’m doing my own little thing
On mama’s hip, We’re about to dip
And then I spit up everything.

Cuz if you like it then you shoulda put a bib on it
If you like it then you shoulda put a bib on it
Don’t cry cuz it just got spit on it
If you like it then you shoulda put a bib on it

Oh! The outfit changes! (7X)
Cause I spit up!

It's a hit already; we sing it a lot around here.

There you have it. Be sure keep your eye on this one. She's going places- and I don't just mean starting to crawl.

An album for babies by babies

Wonderin' when you'd start bloggin'
'Bout the lil'girl's yak-noggin'

Cause if you don't believe,
Just look here on my sleeve,

There in the puddin' is the proof.

Jenni- thanks, friend! How are the chickens???

Teresa- I think I feel a little guest appearance might be in order. Seriously, Te$$a (that's how she spells her name now, the little diva!) is very interested in collaborating on her next album. We'll be in touch.
